KurdSelect Community Guidelines

KurdSelect is built around real people and genuine connections.

Your profile should represent you.

Do not:

• Impersonate another person
• Use another person's photos as your own
• Create fake or deceptive profiles
• Intentionally misrepresent your age, identity, location, or intentions
• Pretend to be affiliated with a person, company, organization, or public figure when you are not
• Create multiple accounts to deceive others or avoid enforcement
• Create a new account to circumvent a suspension or ban

We may request additional verification when reasonably necessary to protect the community.

Every KurdSelect member deserves to be treated with dignity.

Disagreement, rejection, or lack of interest never justifies abusive behavior.

We do not tolerate:

• Harassment or bullying
• Threats or intimidation
• Stalking
• Repeated unwanted contact
• Sexual harassment
• Abusive or degrading messages
• Hate speech
• Encouragement of violence
• Targeted humiliation
• Attempts to pressure or manipulate another member

If someone tells you they are not interested, respect their decision.

KurdSelect brings together Kurdish people from different countries, cities, regions, dialects, backgrounds, and experiences.

Content or conduct that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred against people based on protected characteristics is prohibited.

Members may have personal preferences when seeking a relationship, but those preferences do not give anyone permission to harass, insult, demean, or attack another person.

KurdSelect is strictly for people age 18 and older.

Anyone under 18 is prohibited from creating or maintaining a KurdSelect account.

Never upload sexual or exploitative content involving a minor or use KurdSelect to facilitate inappropriate or unlawful interaction with minors.

Suspected child exploitation may result in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

Respect your privacy and the privacy of others.

Do not publish or distribute another person's private information without authorization.

This includes information such as:

• Home addresses
• Private phone numbers
• Personal email addresses
• Financial information
• Passwords or verification codes
• Identification documents
• Private photographs or messages
• Workplace or location information when shared maliciously

Do not threaten to expose another member's private information.

Remember that information you voluntarily send to another person may be copied or shared outside KurdSelect. Use good judgment when sharing personal information.

KurdSelect has zero tolerance for scams and financial exploitation.

Do not use KurdSelect to:

• Ask members for money under false or manipulative circumstances
• Conduct romance scams
• Request banking information or passwords
• Request gift cards or cryptocurrency as part of a scam
• Promote fraudulent investments
• Conduct phishing
• Steal identities
• Blackmail or extort another member
• Manipulate another person for financial gain

Never send money to someone simply because you met them through KurdSelect.

If another member asks you for money or appears to be attempting a scam, report the account.

KurdSelect is a matchmaking and relationship platform. It is not an adult content platform.

Do not publicly upload:

• Pornography
• Sexually explicit images or videos
• Graphic sexual content
• Nonconsensual intimate content
• Content involving sexual exploitation
• Sexual content involving anyone under 18

Sexual harassment, sexual coercion, and attempts to pressure another member into unwanted sexual activity are prohibited.

Do not use KurdSelect to threaten, encourage, organize, celebrate, or facilitate violence or serious harm.

Content promoting terrorism, violent extremism, human trafficking, exploitation, or other serious illegal activity is prohibited.

Credible threats of serious harm may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

KurdSelect is for genuine interpersonal connections.

Without our authorization, do not use KurdSelect to:

• Advertise products or businesses
• Recruit customers
• Promote another dating or matchmaking platform
• Send mass messages
• Harvest member contact information
• Recruit people into financial schemes
• Promote investment opportunities
• Sell products or services
• Conduct unauthorized commercial solicitation

Profiles created primarily for advertising, solicitation, or spam may be removed.

Your primary profile photos should accurately represent you.

Do not upload:

• Photos pretending to be another person
• Stolen photographs
• Intentionally deceptive images
• Pornographic images
• Graphic violence
• Images promoting hate or illegal activity
• Images that violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights

KurdSelect may remove photos that violate these Guidelines.

Consent and personal boundaries matter both online and offline.

Do not repeatedly contact someone who has clearly indicated they are not interested.

Do not attempt to circumvent a block by creating another account or contacting the person through another KurdSelect account.

Blocking someone is a clear boundary. Respect it.

KurdSelect helps people connect, but KurdSelect cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, background, or behavior of another member.

When meeting someone for the first time:

• Consider meeting in a public place
• Tell a trusted person where you are going
• Arrange your own transportation
• Keep control of your phone and belongings
• Protect your financial information
• Avoid sending money
• Trust your judgment if something feels wrong

Verification or the existence of a KurdSelect profile should never be treated as a guarantee that someone is safe or trustworthy.

If you encounter behavior that violates these Guidelines, use the Report feature.

Reports may include issues involving:

• Fake profiles
• Harassment
• Threats
• Scams
• Inappropriate sexual behavior
• Hate or discrimination
• Underage users
• Spam
• Impersonation
• Safety concerns
• Other violations

Provide accurate information when submitting a report.

Intentionally submitting false reports to harass another member may itself violate these Guidelines.

KurdSelect provides blocking functionality to help members control unwanted interactions.

If you do not want another member to interact with you, use the Block feature.

Attempts to circumvent another member's block may result in enforcement action.

We take violations seriously.

Depending on the nature, severity, frequency, and circumstances of the conduct, KurdSelect may:

• Remove content
• Issue a warning
• Restrict account functionality
• Limit account access
• Suspend an account
• Permanently terminate an account
• Prevent creation of replacement accounts
• Preserve relevant information for safety, fraud prevention, or legal purposes
• Report activity to appropriate authorities when required or permitted by law

Serious violations may result in immediate permanent removal without a prior warning.

KurdSelect may use available information, user reports, technical systems, and human review when investigating potential violations.

Not every disagreement between members constitutes a violation.

KurdSelect may consider the context, severity, available evidence, previous violations, safety concerns, and other relevant circumstances when making enforcement decisions.

We are not required to disclose confidential moderation methods, fraud detection systems, reporter identities, or information that could compromise another person's safety or privacy.

KurdSelect exists to create meaningful connections within the global Kurdish community.

That only works when members treat one another with respect.

Be genuine.

Be respectful.

Protect your privacy.

Respect boundaries.

Report harmful behavior.
