KURDSELECT PRIVACY POLICY

KurdSelect is owned and operated by NHRHR Ventures LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as KurdSelect.

This Privacy Policy explains how NHRHR Ventures LLC, referred to as "KurdSelect," "we," "us," or "our," collects, uses, processes, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use the KurdSelect mobile applications, website, and related products and services, collectively referred to as the "Services."

KurdSelect is a matchmaking and social connection platform intended exclusively for adults age 18 and older.

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Services and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Where applicable law requires consent for a particular type of processing, we will request that consent separately.

The information we collect depends on how you use KurdSelect and the features available to you.

A. Account Information

When you create or maintain a KurdSelect account, we may collect information such as:

• Name or display name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Date of birth and age
• Authentication and verification information
• Login information
• Account status
• Subscription status
• Account creation information
• Account preferences and settings

We use this information to establish and maintain your account, authenticate access, determine eligibility, communicate with you, provide the Services, and protect the KurdSelect community.

B. Profile Information

When you create a profile, we may collect information you choose or are required to provide, such as:

• Profile photographs
• Age or date of birth
• Gender and other profile attributes offered through the Services
• Country
• City
• Kurdish dialect
• Relationship goals
• Biography or profile description
• Interests
• Preferences
• Other profile information you choose to provide

Some profile information is intended to be visible to other eligible KurdSelect members according to your account type, subscription status, settings, and the functionality of the Services.

Because KurdSelect is designed for matchmaking and social connection, some information you voluntarily provide may reveal personal characteristics or preferences that could be considered sensitive under the laws of certain jurisdictions.

Please consider carefully what information you choose to include in your profile.

C. Photos and Media

KurdSelect allows users to upload photographs and may provide features involving voice or other media.

With your permission, KurdSelect may request access to your device's camera or photo library so you can take, select, or upload profile photographs and use other features requiring camera access.

Profile photographs and certain media, including voice clips where applicable, may be stored using cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services S3, and delivered using services such as Amazon CloudFront.

We process uploaded media to provide the features you request, maintain your profile, support account authenticity, protect users, and operate the Services.

D. Identity Verification Selfies

KurdSelect may require or allow users to submit a selfie for identity verification, account authenticity, fraud prevention, and community safety purposes.

Verification selfies may be reviewed by authorized personnel.

KurdSelect does not currently use automated facial recognition, facial matching algorithms, biometric identification, or biometric authentication to analyze identity verification selfies.

A verification selfie is treated as personal information. We may retain verification information for as long as reasonably necessary for verification, fraud prevention, safety, enforcement, legal compliance, and other legitimate operational purposes, subject to applicable law.

If KurdSelect introduces biometric or automated facial recognition technology in the future, we will update our disclosures and obtain any consent required by applicable law before using such technology.

E. Messages and Communications

KurdSelect allows eligible members to communicate with one another.

We may collect and store information associated with these communications, including:

• One to one message content
• Sender and recipient information
• Message timestamps
• Message status
• Conversation history
• Information associated with blocks or reports

Messages may be processed as reasonably necessary to deliver communications, operate the Services, investigate reports, prevent fraud and abuse, protect users, enforce our policies, comply with legal obligations, and maintain platform security.

Users should not send highly sensitive information, financial credentials, passwords, government identification numbers, or other information they would not want another person to possess.

F. Voice and Video Communications

KurdSelect may provide voice and video communication features.

When you use these features, KurdSelect may request access to your device's camera and microphone.

KurdSelect uses third party communications infrastructure, including Daily.co, to support voice and video communication functionality.

Information necessary to establish, operate, secure, and maintain voice or video sessions may be processed by KurdSelect and applicable service providers.

KurdSelect may also allow users to create voice introductions or voice clips. Voice clips submitted through the Services may be stored using our cloud infrastructure.

G. Likes, Favorites, Profile Views, and Activity

When you interact with KurdSelect, we may process information about activity such as:

• Likes
• Favorites
• Messages
• Profile interactions
• Blocks
• Reports
• Last active information
• Profile completion information
• Other interactions with KurdSelect features

KurdSelect currently maintains profile view count information. The current system does not maintain a historical log identifying every individual member who viewed a particular profile.

KurdSelect does not currently maintain logs of user search queries or search history.

H. Search and Discovery Information

KurdSelect may allow eligible users to search, browse, filter, and discover other members using criteria such as:

• Country
• City
• Kurdish dialect
• Relationship goals
• Age range
• Other available profile criteria

KurdSelect uses the criteria you provide to generate the results or functionality you request.

KurdSelect does not currently maintain a separate history of your search queries.

I. Location Information

KurdSelect may request access to your device's location while you are using the app to help determine your city and country during onboarding or when using relevant location based functionality.

Location coordinates may be processed temporarily on your device to determine the corresponding city and country.

For this process, KurdSelect does not intentionally transmit or store your GPS coordinates on its backend. Instead, the resulting city and country information may be stored as part of your account or profile.

KurdSelect does not currently use background or continuous location tracking.

You may also provide or update city and country information directly through the Services where that functionality is available.

J. Subscription and Transaction Information

KurdSelect offers paid subscription services.

Mobile subscription purchases are intended to be processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device and platform used.

When you purchase or maintain a subscription, KurdSelect may receive information from the applicable app marketplace necessary to provide and manage your subscription, such as:

• Subscription status
• Product or subscription plan
• Transaction or purchase identifier
• Purchase date
• Renewal information
• Expiration information
• Cancellation information
• Refund information
• Storefront or country information where provided

Apple and Google process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

KurdSelect generally does not receive your complete credit card or debit card number from Apple or Google for mobile subscription transactions.

K. Push Notification Information

KurdSelect uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, or FCM, to provide push notifications.

KurdSelect may store an FCM push notification token associated with your app installation so that notifications can be delivered to your device.

An FCM token is used for notification delivery and is not treated by KurdSelect as a hardware device identifier.

Notifications may relate to:

• Likes
• Messages
• Profile activity
• Account activity
• Verification
• Subscription information
• Security
• Safety
• Service updates
• Other relevant KurdSelect activity

You may control push notification permissions through your device settings and, where available, KurdSelect settings.

L. Device and Technical Information

When you use KurdSelect, certain technical information may be processed as necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Services.

Depending on the platform and service involved, this may include information such as:

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• Language
• Time zone
• Session information
• Network information
• Application errors
• Security related information
• Access times
• Feature interactions necessary to operate the Services

KurdSelect does not currently intentionally log or store users' IP addresses in its application backend.

KurdSelect does not currently store hardware device identifiers.

Some third party infrastructure providers may independently process technical information necessary to provide their services, subject to their respective roles, agreements, and privacy practices.

M. Reports, Blocking, Safety, and Moderation Information

If you report another member, block another member, contact us regarding safety, or become involved in an investigation, we may collect and process information such as:

• The account submitting a report
• The account being reported
• Reason for the report
• Relevant communications
• Screenshots or evidence provided
• Account history relevant to the investigation
• Enforcement actions
• Restrictions or suspensions
• Appeals or support communications
• Fraud or safety information

We use this information to protect members, investigate potential violations, enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable law.

Depending on the features you use and your device, KurdSelect may request permission to access:

• Camera — for profile photographs and voice or video communication features.
• Photo Library — to allow you to select and upload profile photographs or other permitted media.
• Microphone — for voice and video calls and voice introduction or voice clip functionality.
• Location While Using the App — to determine city and country as described in this Privacy Policy.
• Notifications — to deliver messages, likes, account activity, subscription information, safety notices, and other relevant notifications.

KurdSelect does not currently request access to your contacts.

Operating systems may allow you to modify permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent certain features from functioning.

KurdSelect may allow you to create or access an account using:

• Google Sign In
• Sign in with Apple

If you choose a social sign in method, we may receive information necessary to authenticate your account, such as an account identifier, name, or email address, depending on the information made available by the provider and your settings.

We use this information to authenticate you and operate your KurdSelect account.

Google and Apple process information according to their respective privacy policies and services.

If you contact KurdSelect through a Support or Contact form on our website, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message, and other information you voluntarily submit.

KurdSelect may use Brevo to facilitate outbound email communications associated with website Support and Contact forms.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, provide support, maintain records where reasonably necessary, prevent abuse, and operate the website.

KurdSelect does not currently integrate dedicated third party analytics or crash reporting SDKs such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, or Amplitude into the KurdSelect application.

KurdSelect does not currently represent that it uses third party behavioral advertising or cross app tracking technology within the application.

If KurdSelect introduces analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting technologies in the future, we will update our privacy disclosures and obtain any permissions or consent required by applicable law or platform rules.

We may use personal information to:

• Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts
• Create and display member profiles
• Provide matchmaking and discovery functionality
• Enable search and filtering
• Deliver likes, favorites, messages, voice clips, voice calls, and video calls
• Provide and verify Premium subscription access
• Deliver notifications
• Perform identity verification
• Help prevent fake accounts, scams, fraud, harassment, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Process reports and blocks
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Provide customer support
• Respond to inquiries
• Maintain and improve the reliability and security of the Services
• Diagnose technical problems
• Protect our users, Company, and third parties
• Comply with legal obligations
• Respond to valid legal process
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
• Carry out legitimate business operations associated with KurdSelect

We may also use information for other purposes that are disclosed to you at the time information is collected or with your consent where required.

We do not make all of your personal information publicly available.

We may disclose information in the circumstances described below.

A. Other KurdSelect Members

Information you place on your profile may be displayed to other members according to the functionality, subscription rules, and settings of KurdSelect.

Other members may also receive information resulting from your interactions with them, such as messages or other permitted activity.

B. Service Providers

We may use companies and contractors to help us operate KurdSelect.

Depending on their function, these providers may process information on our behalf or provide infrastructure through which information passes.

Current services may include:

• Amazon Web Services for cloud storage and content delivery
• Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
• Daily.co for voice and video communications
• Apple and Google for authentication and mobile subscription services
• Brevo for certain website related outbound email communications

We seek to provide service providers only with information reasonably necessary for their functions and require appropriate handling of personal information consistent with applicable agreements, law, and platform requirements.

Our providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence.

C. Legal, Security, and Safety Reasons

We may preserve, access, or disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary or appropriate to:

• Comply with applicable law
• Respond to lawful legal process
• Protect the rights or property of KurdSelect
• Protect the safety of our users or others
• Investigate fraud or abuse
• Prevent illegal activity
• Enforce our policies
• Respond to emergencies involving potential harm
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

D. Corporate Transactions

Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, investment, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate transaction involving NHRHR Ventures LLC or KurdSelect.

Any successor handling personal information will remain subject to applicable privacy obligations.

E. With Your Direction or Consent

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent where consent is required.

KurdSelect does not sell personal information for money as part of its ordinary business model.

We also do not currently use user information for cross contextual behavioral advertising within the KurdSelect application.

Certain privacy laws define terms such as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" more broadly than their ordinary meanings. Where those laws apply, we will provide any notices or rights required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Measures may include:

• Authentication and access controls
• Restricted administrative access
• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Encryption in transit where appropriate
• Logging and security monitoring where implemented
• Account and session controls
• Fraud prevention measures
• Environment and access separation where appropriate

No application, database, network, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Retention may depend on factors including:

• Whether your account remains active
• The type of information involved
• The feature for which the information was collected
• Fraud and abuse prevention needs
• Safety considerations
• Financial and transaction record requirements
• Legal obligations
• Dispute resolution
• Enforcement of our agreements
• Litigation or anticipated legal claims

Information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

We may retain limited information about suspended or terminated accounts when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, safety violations, or attempts to circumvent enforcement.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or deidentify it, subject to applicable law.

KurdSelect users may request deletion of their accounts and associated personal information through the account deletion functionality provided by KurdSelect.

KurdSelect will also maintain an external method for requesting account deletion as required by applicable platform rules.

When an account is deleted, we will delete or deidentify associated personal information except information we reasonably need or are legally permitted or required to retain for purposes such as:

• Fraud prevention
• Safety
• Preventing circumvention of account bans
• Legal compliance
• Financial and transaction records
• Chargebacks or payment disputes
• Enforcement of our Terms
• Dispute resolution
• Litigation or legal claims

Deleting your KurdSelect account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple or Google.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play may need to be canceled separately through the applicable platform.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to:

• Access certain personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion
• Request information about processing
• Obtain a copy of certain information
• Object to certain processing
• Restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
• Appeal certain privacy decisions where applicable

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws.

Where those laws apply to KurdSelect and to a particular request, we will provide the rights and disclosures required by law.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable privacy right.

KurdSelect is intended to serve users in multiple countries.

If you use KurdSelect outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in the United States or other countries where KurdSelect or its service providers operate.

Privacy and data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation, United Kingdom GDPR, or similar laws apply, NHRHR Ventures LLC may process personal information under one or more lawful bases depending on the activity, including:

• Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to provide the Services you request.
• Legitimate interests — where processing is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, protect, and improve KurdSelect and those interests are not overridden by applicable individual rights.
• Consent — where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity.
• Legal obligations — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
• Vital interests — where processing is necessary to protect a person's life or physical safety in appropriate circumstances.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully conducted before withdrawal.

Certain information processed through a matchmaking platform may be considered sensitive under some privacy laws.

Depending on the information you voluntarily provide and the jurisdiction involved, this may include information concerning personal relationships, cultural background, identity, preferences, photographs, communications, or other personal characteristics.

KurdSelect processes sensitive information only as reasonably necessary to provide requested features, protect users, operate the Services, comply with law, or for other purposes disclosed at collection.

Where applicable law requires explicit consent for processing particular categories of sensitive information, KurdSelect will request that consent.

KurdSelect does not currently use automated facial recognition, facial matching, biometric identification, or biometric authentication technology to process user photographs or identity verification selfies.

Submitting a photograph or identity verification selfie does not mean KurdSelect creates a biometric template.

If KurdSelect introduces biometric processing in the future, we will provide appropriate disclosures and obtain consent where required before that processing occurs.

KurdSelect is strictly intended for adults 18 years of age and older.

People under 18 are not permitted to create or use KurdSelect accounts.

If we reasonably believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or terminate the account and take appropriate action.

If you believe a person under 18 is using KurdSelect, please report the account through the available reporting features or contact us.

Information you choose to place on your profile may be visible to other KurdSelect members according to the functionality and access rules of the Services.

Messages you send are shared with their intended recipients.

Although KurdSelect provides privacy and safety controls, we cannot control what another person does with information after they lawfully receive or view it.

Other users may take screenshots, copy information, or share information outside KurdSelect despite our rules or your expectations.

Do not disclose information to another member that you are not comfortable sharing.

Misuse of another member's private information may violate our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and may result in enforcement action.

We may process information when reasonably necessary to identify or investigate:

• Fake accounts
• Impersonation
• Scams
• Fraud
• Harassment
• Threats
• Abuse
• Spam
• Unauthorized access
• Policy violations
• Safety incidents
• Attempts to circumvent enforcement

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts based on violations of our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, safety standards, or applicable law.

KurdSelect may contain links to websites, services, or applications operated by third parties.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

This Privacy Policy does not control independent third party services that are not operated by NHRHR Ventures LLC.

We encourage users to review applicable third party privacy policies before providing personal information to those services.

We may update this Privacy Policy as KurdSelect develops, our practices change, technology changes, or legal requirements evolve.

When we update the Privacy Policy, we will revise the Last Updated date.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the KurdSelect application, website, email, or another appropriate method.

Where applicable law requires consent for a change in processing, we will obtain that consent.
